Exciting news for all you wonderful runner folk out there! Girls On The Run Boston has been granted two charity bibs for the 2013 Boston Marathon. What does this mean? It means that you get to bypass the whole, pesky qualification process in exchanging for raising money for an amazing charity. How much money? We have set a minimum of $5,000. I know that’s more than some other programs out there, but because we received our bibs through John Hancock, we have to follow their criteria, which is $5,000. With only two runners on the team, we’ll be able to provide support in terms of fundraising ideas and help. We want you to succeed!
The application for the bibs can be found online here. Please leave a comment if you have any questions!
